GAWIE’s 2025 Festival was SPECTACULAR!

We heard stories, we heard poems, we made music, we made craft, we had workshops, we had a choir, we had a procession, we had a live/online concert, we had A GREAT TIME at Get A Word In Edgeways Storytelling Festival !

The theme of the 2025 Get A Word In Edgeways Storytelling Festival was Edging Towards Winter:   A Festival of Togetherness & Transformation and we looked at how this is the time to get together to help us through the harsh northern winter months.

Now winter approaches and we, like our ancestors, must prepare for the change. Now we may hear and learn tales, create stories, poems or songs that we can get together with our friends and families to share.

A fireside, a pub, a coffee shop – all places we can gather to tell or sing our stories and songs. All we have to do is do it!
