GAWIE Town Festival Full Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully; your purchase of a ticket or tickets constitutes acceptance of them. Note that GAWIE reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.

Please see our FAQ for more information

1Please bring your online ticket to the Box Office and you will be given a wristband (day/weekend tickets). For performance-specific entry, you must present your e-ticket to the stewards at the venue door.

When you order (online only) you will receive an acknowledgment of booking. Electronic tickets will be emailed later, nearer the festival.
2Keep tickets and wristbands safe. If you lose them, GAWIE reserves the right to charge for a replacement.
3Under-16 tickets must be purchased by an accompanying adult; this adult must accept responsibility for the child during their visit.
4GAWIE is a festival and people will be taking photographs and videos, in which you may appear, and which will almost certainly end up on social media, on this website, or in other future promotional material.

We cannot guarantee that you will not be included in such photos or videos and accept no liability for such use. By being present you consent to being, recorded, filmed and/or photographed.

This applies to the attending public, but also to non-officials and officials of the festival.

You give all necessary consents under Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 in respect of photograph, film or recording that may include you and agree not to assert any moral (or similar) rights.

GAWIE shall therefore be entitled to make or authorise full use of any photograph, film or recording in which you are included in all media worldwide without any liability or payment to you.
5It is strictly forbidden for the unauthorised use of audio/visual recording equipment during performance
.
Why?
Firstly, you will miss the moment
It violates copyright laws and the performers rights
It is bl**dy annoying to people sat behind you; why would you be so selfish?

Violators may be asked to leave the show if they continue to record.
6We love dogs, but as we are using town facilities, service dogs only will be allowed in the venues unless signed otherwise. For outside performances in public areas dogs are welcome, of course.
7Only authorised traders may sell items or services in the festival venues. Leaflets advertising other events may be left in the Box Office; please do not put them in venues as they will be removed.
8Any lost property remaining unclaimed after 6 months will be disposed of. Lost huge sums of money will buy the festival staff holidays in Barbados or somewhere after the 6 months.
9Every effort will be made to follow the advertised programme, However, being a live event, things can affect us. GAWIE reserves the right to make alterations without prior notification or obligation to refund monies.

10You may request and unconditional refund within 14 days of online purchase. We are only accepting online orders. Requests
